When I used to go to this school, I always felt negative towards it. But now that I've moved away, this is DEFINITELY not the case. I just never gave HHS a chance. excellent teachers & security, amazing education, friendly community, delicious lunches, the lists goes on & on. I just want to let everyone who works or learns at this school to keep up the amazing work. You're obviously a one of a kind school. Possible one of the best schools in America. I hope to visit sometime to relive me precious memories with my friends & family. Thank you for the best freshman year any teen could ask for! -Jackson Wheelock

This school made my high school experience so unmemorable. First off, I would like to say that my freshman/sophomore year, I was bullied by numerous students on multiple ocassions and I showed proof to the dean that I was being bullied and there was nothing done about it because those students were athletes. It appalls me that Huntley high school likes to pride themself on being a zero tolerance bullying school. IF YOU DONT PRACTICE WHAT YOU PREACH THEN DONT PREACH IT. Also, half of the teachers there don't care what so ever about their jobs. Also if you have an opinion in a class that a teacher doesn't agree with then you're better off not saying anything. I am one that liked to participate in class discussion and I was told by one of my teachers that I am "the most judgemental person in the classroom", I found comment completely uncalled for in that context of discussion. That particular teacher also continued to make uncalled for, negative comments to me about my opinions pertaining to this class. In which these opinions were asked for to the class by the students, I was one who participated. This school was absolute joke to me and I couldn't wait to graduate. Huntley high school acquired the name "Cuntley" for a clear reason. There are a select few teachers I liked and would give them a good review, the previous example is just one of many of my horrendous teachers that I had through out the 4 years I went to Huntley high school. The students are some of the most priveliged, self centered people I have ever came in contact with. I know for a fact that I am not the only victim of bullying that the school didn't stop/help stop the bullying for because the aggressors were athletes. The staff are the most unhelpful waste of space. Please save your time and go to a different high school if at all possible. This was a horrible experience and giving this trash school one star is one hell of a complement.
I would like to say Huntley High School has had some problems in the past but the teachers, staff, and students are working to break the social norms. I have had my fare share of good and bad experience but when going through life you'll deal with it. I feel like Huntley has a great future ahead of it with its many promising students, great educators who will listen to a long as you ask a question and the HHS will be a strongly cultured school in the years to come for all students in the district to understood and properly educated.
I don't even go the school and it looks amazing. 4 stars because I live across the country and want to go here
